CHICAGO-Prudential Real Estate Investors has purchased the restaurant and retail space in the John Hancock Center, a 100-story skyscraper at 875 N. Michigan Ave., for approximately $142 million. An affiliate of Prudential bought the retail space measuring 206,000 square feet on the lower floors and the 95th- and 96th-floor space leased to the Signature Room restaurant.
