TAMPA, FL-Interstate Hotels & Resorts has wrapped up a $9-million renovation of the old Crowne Plaza Hotel and transformed it into the Sheraton Tampa East Hotel. Last fall, the hotel management company bought the property at 10221 Princess Palm Ave. through a joint venture with a private investment group and Waramaug Hospitality LLC.
