MILWAUKEE-As reported by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Bank has acquired the Wyndham Milwaukee Airport Hotel and Convention Center in a foreclosure auction for $4 million. The bank, which filed a foreclosure suit against the hotel, won a foreclosure judgment against New Jersey-based Shady Grove Road Associates LLC in September.
U.S. Bank, a trustee for Wachovia Bank, said that the hotel owed over $10 million in loan. The hotel, valued at $4.7 million, is located at 4747 S. Howell Ave. in Milwaukee. For the full story, go to Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee .
