LEESBURG, GA-Albany Herald reported that Flint Ventures, Inc. is planning to construct Flint Ventures Apartments, a 240-unit gated apartment community in Lee County. The proposed upscale apartment complex will come up on a 29-acre parcel on Georgia Highway 133.
The newspaper reported that the Lee County Commission will decide on the project at its meeting on August 28. During the County Commission's work session on Tuesday, a representative of Flint said that the company bought 322 acres in 2005 for commercial development.
