NASHVILLE-Regions Center, a 600,000-plus-square-foot office building at 315 Deaderick St., will hit the auction block in September. The starting bid for the 28-story Class B building is $6 million. The downtown high-rise is 65% leased and Birmingham, Alabama-based Regions Financial Corp. is the largest tenant.

LNR is the seller. The company took back the building from Florida-based FRI Investors, the previous owner, after it defaulted on a $70-million mortgage loan. The two-day auction will start on September 10. For the full story, go to Nashville Business Journal .
