MIAMI—Advantix Systems just inked a 40,000-square-foot lease to consolidate and expand its North American corporate headquarters. Advantix will take up residence at Sawgrass International Corporate Park in Sunrise.
Advantix, a cooling and dehumidification systems provider, currently has its headquarters in North Miami Beach. The company’s warehouse space is in Miami Gardens. Advantix will move into Marina West, a two-building complex at 13800 NW Second St. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Jones Lang LaSalle’s Steven Wasserman and David Wigoda represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. JLL’s Steven Medwin and Nick Wigoda represented the tenant.
“This was a true consolidation where they put the R&D, the sales and marketing and training and distribution under one roof,” Nick Wigoda tells GlobeSt.com. “At the end of the day, the consolidation still puts them central to airports and major thoroughfares.”
Wigoda says Sawgrass International Corporate Park was a great fit for Advantix. The Marina West building had the characteristics it demanded: a corporate environment with a heavy office build out, plenty of power and parking.
“There were many variables that were important to Advantix, not just the location,” Wigoda says. “We had several choices in the market that suited their needs.”
