GARLAND, TX-Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group is planning to construct the second phase of the Firewheel Town Center Main Street-style retail center in Garland. The planned 281 apartments will be constructed beside the existing Parkside at Firewheel, a 312-unit rental complex.
The shopping center, situated at the junction of State Highway 78 and Bush Turnpike, was opened in 2006 and the residential complex was opened in 2007. The residential addition is scheduled to be finished in December 2013. For the full story, go to Dallas Morning News .
