HOUSTON-Buckhead Investment Partners, the developer of the Ashby high-rise project, has reapplied for the first construction permit for the project. The Houston Chronicle reported that since a legal debate with the city of Houston was resolved earlier this year, the developer has reapplied for a sitework and foundation permit for its project.

Buckhead still needs to get permission to demolish the 67-unit Maryland Manor at 1717 Bissonnet. The newly proposed project will include a 21-story tower with 228 apartment units and a restaurant. For the full story, go to Houston Business Journal .
