ROCKVILLE, MD-Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT) has marketed 1700 Research Blvd. located in Rockville to a partnership that comprises a long-time tenant of the office building. The property, which contains 101,000 square feet of office space, was sold for $14.25 million.
The building was constructed in 1982 and WRIT acquired it in 1999. The company carried out this sale to focus on its portfolio on properties located in the beltway. It has approximately 70 properties in the Washington region. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
