WAUWATOSA, WI-Meijer Inc. is seeking permission from Wauwatosa to construct a store on a 15-acre site on West Burleigh Avenue. The retailer will approach the city's Plan Commission on Monday to seek permission for the 157,000-square-foot store at 11323 W. Burleigh Ave.
The Grand Rapids, Michigan-based company has informally considered breaking ground in spring next year. The Wauwatosa store, which will be smaller than the company's Franklin and Grafton stores, will have a pharmacy and garden center.
