ST. LOUIS-The Cortona, a 280-unit apartment complex, will be constructed just south of Forest Park in the Highlands development. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the five-story apartment building will include roughly 200 one-bedroom units and 80 two-bedroom units.
The complex will also have a 7,000-square-foot clubhouse, outdoor kitchen and saltwater swimming pool. Steve Brown of Balke Brown Transwestern is the developer and Dallas-based Humphreys & Partners is the architect. Financing for the project will be provided by AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust.
