PHILADELPHIA-Ballard Spahr has decided to retain its headquarters at Mellon Bank Center. The law firm has finalized a lease renewal deal with CommonWealth REIT, the landlord, for 179,307 square feet of office space in the building at 1735 Market St.
Ballard Spahr has been occupying space in the 54-story office building since 1991 and will carry out a major renovation. In the lease deal, the law firm was represented by CBRE and the landlord was represented by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. For the full story, go to Philadelphia Business Journal .
