MINNETONKA, MN-Public records showed that Medica has bought its headquarters building in Minnetonka for $42 million. The not-for-profit health insurer purchased the five-story, 215,000-square-foot office building from Carlson Real Estate Co., a unit of Minnetonka-based Carlson.
Carlson Real Estate previously leased the 11.1-acre property to Medica. Hennepin County property records revealed that the Class A office building was constructed in 2001. The property was recently valued at $30 million. For the full story, go to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal .
