DALLAS-Following close to three decades as head of his own executive search firm, Sayres Dudley joined global executive search firm DHR International as its executive vice president. In this position, Dudley is responsible for searches in the financial services industry, specifically in the commercial real estate sector.
During his 35-year career, Dudley developed a multitude of clients and completed hundreds of national and international searches in commercial real estate, construction, design and engineering, high-tech and BPOs. He entered the recruiting business in 1978 with the Dial Agency Group in Dallas, eventually receiving the award of Highest Producer for the Metroplex Association of Personnel Consultants in 1981. In 1983, he launched Dudley & Associates.
Dudley is a graduate of Ferrum College and served six years in the United States Air Force. He is a member of the Dallas Real Estate Council and NAIOP, and was a founding advisor of the Young Professionals Group (YPG) of the NAIOP SoCal Chapter. Sayres also participates in the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, Realshare and Bisnow events. He is a frequent speaker and panelist for real estate conferences and is a regular source for industry news publications.
Dudley is married to Kathy H. Dudley. The couple has two sons and two grandsons.
