AUSTIN, TX-Harry Whittington, an Austin real estate attorney, and his family members have formed a joint venture partnership with Merrillville, Indiana-based White Lodging Services Corp. and Carmel, Indiana-based REI Real Estate Services LLC to develop a 300-room hotel in downtown Austin. They are planning to develop the new hotel at the northeast edge of San Jacinto and Fifth streets.
