HONOLULU-An LLC managed by the Edmund C. Olson Trust II has purchased the Wainaku Executive Center, an 11,800-square-foot building in Hilo, for $7.7 million. The estate of C. Brewer & Co. honcho J.W.A. "Doc" Buyers was the seller.
The Wainaku Executive Center is situated on a 12-acre oceanfront property on the north side of Hilo's "Singing Bridge." Olson has plans to convert the property into an event venue and convention center, and eventually construct a boutique hotel there. For the full story, go to Pacific Business News .
