NEW YORK CITY-The Hampshire Cos. has sold a portfolio of self-storage facilities totaling 1 million square feet in New Jersey and New York. The company has sold the portfolio to Extra Space Self-Storage with the help of HFF.
The properties, which comprise 7,433 units, are placed in Central Valley and Poughkeepsie in New York and eight locations in New Jersey. In August, HFF, on behalf of Storage Deluxe, sold a 1.6-million-square-foot portfolio for $560 million to CubeSmart. For the full story, go to Commercial Property Executive .
