CHAPEL HILL, NC-Richmond, Virginia-based Thalhimer Realty Partners, a company affiliate with Cushman & Wakefield/Thalhimer, has acquired an apartment complex in Orange County. The company bought Laurel Ridge Apartments, a 160-unit community in Chapel Hill, for $11.6 million.

Thalhimer bought the complex from 1100 NC West LLC, a unit managed by Los Angeles, California-based QVT Mount Auburn Capital, which bought the Laurel Ridge property, situated at 1100 N.C. 54 W. Bypass, in 2009 for $9.3 million. For the full story, go to Triangle Business Journal .
