WASHINGTON, DC-CVS has signed a lease for 13,000 square feet of space at the Watergate office and retail complex in Washington, DC. It will occupy the former Safeway space and will be the largest leaseholder at the retail plaza in the Watergate complex.

Penzance bought the Watergate retail space and office building last year. The company said that the CVS deal is the first of several new tenants coming to the Watergate's retail plaza. CVS is planning to open its new store next spring. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
