CHARLOTTE, NC-Developers have broken ground on Gateway West Apartments, a 280-unit project in Charlotte. Faison is developing the apartment project on 2.8 acres of land beside Gateway Center uptown with Sereo Group Inc. The five-story building will feature 280 apartments atop a two-level parking space and an 8,000-square-foot retail space.
The general contractor of the project is Balfour Beatty Construction. The project is scheduled to be completed in spring 2014. Faison is also preparing to develop 200 apartment units at a South End site. For the full story, go to Charlotte Business Journal .
