HOMEWOOD, AL-A Birmingham-based multifamily development firm is preparing to develop a new $15.5-million apartment complex in Homewood. Dobbins Group has employed Capstone Building Corp. to construct the Moretti at Vulcan Park Apartments, a 135-unit complex on Hillside Circle near Vulcan Park.

The complex will be built beside the Jefferson County Board of Education facility. The Homewood Planning Commission approved the project last year. Construction is expected to start in October. For the full story, go to Birmingham Business Journal .
