
BOSTON-The former Verizon building located at 185 Franklin St. in the Financial District of Boston will get a $40-million overhaul soon. Lee Kennedy Co. has been selected to carry out the 300,000-square-foot renovation on 12 floors at the 18-story tower on behalf of Brown Brothers Harriman.
The American investment bank and securities firm is planning to consolidate its officess in Boston into one headquarters. Commonwealth Ventures bought the building in 2008 for $192 million in a joint venture partnership with Kennedy Associates. For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal .
