AUSTIN, TX-Heitman, a pension fund adviser based in Chicago, has bought a garden-style apartment complex in Southwest Austin. The 608-unit complex, known as the Preserve at Travis Creek, was sold by Dallas-based Invesco Real Estate.

At the time of closing, the multifamily property was 96% occupied. It was constructed in 1998. Patton Jones from ARA in Austin negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. For the full story, go to Austin Business Journal .
