NEW YORK CITY-A newly constructed rental building on West 37th Street has quietly changed hands. Equity Residential has bought the 98-unit Mantena building at 431 W. 37th St. from a subsidiary of Joy Construction, which built the project along with architect Karl Fischer.
The building was listed for $90 million, or about $918,000 per unit. It is nearly 85% occupied. Andrew Scandalios from HFF marketed the Hudson Yards area project for the Joy Construction affiliate. For the full story, go to New York Post .
