WAUWATOSA, WI-Three local developers are competing to purchase land from Wauwatosa and an adjacent salon to build an apartment and retail complex there. Milwaukee-based Wangard Partners Inc., Brookfield-based Metropolitan Development and a partnership between Blair Williams and Sean Phelan are competing to build the project on the site at the northwest corner of Harmonee Avenue and Underwood Avenue.
