
LOS ANGELES-The Los Angeles Times reported that Sonny Astani, a commercial real estate developer, is planning for a $100-million mixed-use development on Hollywood Boulevard. Astani's Beverly Hills-based Astani Enterprises Inc. has purchased a 1.9-acre site near Western Avenue from Capmark Financial Group Inc. for nearly $11 million.
Astani has plans to construct a 280-unit apartment complex, dubbed High Line West, will include an elevated public park over street-level shops. The complex will come up at 5540 Hollywood Blvd. For the full story, go to Los Angeles Business .
