PITTSBURGH-Four Pittsburgh area apartment properties have changed hands in a huge deal that involves approximately 3,000 units in four Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Ohio metropolitan areas. A joint venture between New York-based Blackstone Real Estate Partners VII LP and Rochester, New York-based Morgan Communities bought Carson Street Commons, the Waterfront apartments, Christopher Wren Apartments and The Docks in O'Hara Township from Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Realty Investors Ltd.
