ALBANY-Town officials have approved plans for a Comfort Inn in Malta, New York. Satish Kumar, who is planning to build the 49-room motel on Route 9, received site plan approval from the planning board. He will demolish the Thorobred Motel, located at 2968 Route 9, to make way for the Comfort Inn.
The new motel will be built on a 15-acre land. It will be the latest project in town as clump residential and retail projects around GlobalFoundries' $6.9-billion computer chip plant. For the full story, go to The Business Review .
