WICHITA, KS-Mitchell, South Dakota-based KAJ Management is planning to start work on the Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel near the northeast corner of Greenwich Road and 21st Street this month. The new 97-room hotel will be built on the north side of Staybridge Suites, an 88-room that KAJ bought for $8.5 million this year.
The ground-breaking will take place on November 19 and the $6.5-million hotel is scheduled to be opened next summer. Puetz Corp. of Mitchell is the general contractor. For the full story, go to Wichita Business Journal .
