NEW YORK CITY-Japanese confectioner Royce Chocolate has leased a 400-square-foot space at 509 Madison Avenue to open its first location in the United States. The lease runs for 10 years and the asking rent for the ground-floor space located between East 52nd and East 53rd streets was $800 per square foot.
In the deal, ABS Partners Real Estate's Dean Valentino and Jay Einbender brokered for the tenant, while Kensico Properties' Alan Zimmerman and Larry Schulte represented the owner, 509 Madison Avenue Associates. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
