CHICAGO-The Big Ten Conference has received approval to issue $13 million in bonds to shell out for the construction of an interactive museum and headquarters in Rosemont. The approval came from Illinois Finance Authority. The bonds will be directly acquired by J. P. Morgan Chase Bank NA of New York. They will mature in 2018.

The nearly $16-million project will create 300 construction jobs. The Big Ten Conference has plans to move into the new 50,000-square-foot headquarters building at 5440 Park Place next fall. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
