BALTIMORE-Developers of an old General Electric service site at 900 E. Fort Ave. in Locust Point are planning to construct nearly 200 apartment units as well as a 16,000-square-foot retail space on the site. The development will be part of a potential eight-story structure on the 2.5-acre site.

Alex Kopicki of Columbia-based Solstice Partners LLC unveiled initial plans for the project at a Locust Point Civic Association meeting. In June, Solstice Partners bought the property for $3.5 million from GE. For the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal .
