MEMPHIS-Bioventus LLC, a joint venture between Smith & Nephew Inc. and Essex Woodlands, has revealed a $5-million expansion project on Goodlett Farms Parkway in Cordova. In a joint release distributed by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Bioventus, the medical manufacturer notified plans to lease a new manufacturing and office space measuring 40,000 square feet at 1900 Charles Bryan Road.

Bioventus, currently housed at Smith & Nephew's Holmes Road and Brooks Road, will move into the new space in February 2013. For the full story, go to Memphis Business Journal .
