PHOENIX-Weidner Investment Services has picked up its 28th apartment project in Arizona for $30.1 million. The Seattle-based company purchased the apartment project, called La Palma, in north Phoenix from LAP La Palma Apartments Phoenix LP, a trade name controlled by Newport Beach, California-based WLA Investments entities.

The multifamily property, constructed in 1984, includes 548 apartment units, two clubhouses, multiple sports courts and four swimming pools, and is situated at Bell Road and 3rd Avenue. For the full story, go to Phoenix Business Journal .
