ROSWELL, GA-MetLife Inc. has taken back the Colonial Center at Mansell Overlook office complex here in a foreclosure transaction worth more than $80 million.

According to Atlanta-based Databank, the foreclosure was completed in early December 2012 for approximately $82.5 million. The complex includes four six-story office buildings, five low rise buildings and two retail storefronts. The foreclosure involves the Mansell Overlook office buildings and retail space.

The property suffered some corporate relocations in the past few years, most recently by software firm Verint Systems Inc., and has been affected by the competitive north Fulton County office market as well as continued slow job growth in the region. See story in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
