ATLANTA—Hickory Flat Commons has a new owner. Connolly Realty Services sold the 114,751-square-foot grocery-anchored retail center to an affiliate of Cole Real Estate Investments for $19 million.
HFF managing directors Jim Hamilton and Richard Reid represented the seller. Thomas Falatko, vice president acquisitions, multi-tenant retail at HFF, represented Cole.
Hickory Flat Commons sits on 18.5-acres in Canton, 30 miles north of Atlanta. Completed in 2008, the property is 96% leased to tenants including Kroger, Anytime Fitness, Verizon Wireless, Little Caesars, Gymboree, and Great Clips.
“Hickory Flat Commons is strategically positioned in north Atlanta in the highly sought after Cherokee County/Canton corridor between Interstate 575 and GA 400 and is the dominant retail center in the submarket,” Hamilton tells GlobeSt.com. “Due to the strong property fundamentals, affluent demographics and robust tenant mix, the property was highly sought after by numerous pension fund advisors and institutional investors.”
