NORTH BERGEN, NJ-Palisades Medical Center has received approvals for a $20-million office building here. Hospital officials are hopeful construction can begin this spring on the project, according to a report in The Record.

The nearly 61,000-sf building was originally designed for four stories, but after discussions with local residents, the height was increased to five stories, although the overall design was slimmed down. The first two stories will be for parking, with the top three stories for physician offices.

Bruce Markowitz, Palisades Medical Center president and CEO, says in the report, “This building is going to afford us the opportunity to add additional services and to expand some of the services we're offering.” See story in The Record.
