Blanca Wins Two New Office Leasing Gigs

MIAMI—Tere Blanca is continuing her roll of exclusive leasing assignments. Blanca
Commercial Real Estate was just tapped to lease two more office buildings in Miami-Dade County: the 101,144 square foot 8200 Doral building and the 161,905 square foot Courthouse Tower. The new assignments grow Blanca's office leasing portfolio to 2.5 million rentable square feet.

Formerly Royal Palm Doral Center III, 8200 Doral is a four-story office building located at 8200 NW 41st Street. Courthouse Tower is a 25-story office building located at 44 West Flagler Street, directly across from the Miami-Dade County Courthouse in Downtown Miami.

Blanca executive vice president Juan Ruiz will spearhead leasing and marketing for both properties. Blanca executive vice president Danet Linares will work on Courthouse Tower.

“These assignments are located in two of the region's most active submarkets: Miami's thriving urban core and the always desirable City of Doral,” says Blanca. Her firm also recently won the assignment to lease an iconic tower on South Beach's Lincoln Road and repositioned Simon property in Miami.

8200 Doral is located in the heart of Doral, just minutes from Miami International Airport and the Miami Intermodal Center. The LEED Silver building offers convenient access to all major expressways. Royal Palm Building, which fully paid off the asset's remaining $16 million loan in 2010, owns the building.

“The building is a viable ideal leasing option for domestic and multinational tenants seeking close proximity to Miami International Airport, easy expressway access, and ample executive and workforce housing,” Ruiz says. Current tenants include Cisco Systems, Data Corp, Ciena Corp., and State Farm Insurance.

Recently renovated, Courthouse Tower is located in the heart of Miami's Central Business District. Major tenants include City Year Miami, and law firms Liebler, Gonzalez & Portuondo, P.A., and Adams & Diaco, P.A.
