MILWAUKEE, WI-A developer hopes to start construction in a few months on a 127-unit senior housing complex at The Brewery here.
Milwaukee Pabst Senior Housing LP is reviving plans from 2011 to renovate two former Pabst Brewery buildings on West Juneau Avenue, according to a report in the Milwaukee Business Journal.
Michael Zukerman, managing partner of Whitestone Realty Capital of New York City, a major partner in Milwaukee Pabst, says he hopes to begin construction on the project in April. The project will take between 12 to 14 months to complete. He says that the new senior housing facility would be sold to either United Housing and Community Services Corp. or Improving Living Foundation Inc.
Zuckerman is seeking $37 million in tax-free bonding support for the project from the City of Milwaukee. See story in The Business Journal.
