NEW YORK CITY-Eastern Effects has signed a lease for 72,000 sf of warehouse space at 99 Ninth St. in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn.
Brian Kanarack, a principal at BKR Partners, says the lease is an expansion for Eastern Effects, which is a film and television equipment, studio and office space provider. Kamarack represented the tenant in the transaction. The building owner, C&F Second Avenue LLC, handled negotiations in-house. The Real Deal first reported the lease.
Eastern Effects currently has 68,000 sf of studio space at 270 Nevins St. in Brooklyn, as well as an office space and equipment location. See story in the Commercial Observer.
