HOUSTON-A little more than a year after announcing the groundbreaking of a 35,240-square-foot sports medicine and athletic facility at the Houston Amateur Sports Park (HASP), McShane Healthcare Solutions has completed the project. The $7 million complex was developed on behalf of owner Competitive Edge Sports (CES) Performance which, incidentally, occupies approximately 18,500 square feet in the facility.
Another tenant at the center, located at 12211 Kirby Dr., is the Methodist Center for Sports Medicine, which occupies 7,000 square feet. The new Houston Amateur Sports Park facility also serves as the permanent training center for the Houston Dynamo, the city's world-class Major League Soccer team, and is situated just minutes from the team's new downtown stadium. McShane Healthcare Solutions completed 5,125 square feet to accommodate this training center for the Dynamo.
Cadence McShane Construction Co. provided the design/build construction services while Houston-based, Seeberger Architecture provided the architectural services for this sports medicine and athletic facility.
