SAN FRANCISCO—Prominent local commercial real estate broker Frank Fudem died January 26th after a nine-month battle with lung cancer. Details were reported by the San Francisco Business Times, attributed to the Cassidy Turley Agency, where Fudem worked for the last 12 years.
Fudem got his start with Damon Raike and Co., which is now merged into Cassidy Turley. He also worked at Colliers International from 1993 to 2000.
Known for his leadership roles in civic and real estate industry organizations, was a tenacious street broker. He built up a strong tenant-representation practice through attention to detail and long-term relationships. Repeat clients and referrals comprised over 70 percent of his practice, according to his Cassidy Turley biography.
Fudem, who favored colorful neckties, was frequently quoted in the San Francisco Business Times, and other publications. His age was not noted in the report, but according to his Linked In profile, Fudem began college in 1969 at the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Fudem leaves behind his wife Nancy and son Jonathan.
