WAYNE, PA-Medical device company Teleflex Inc. has signed a long-term lease for 84,000 sf at CrossPoint at Valley Forge here.
The firm will be consolidating operations currently housed in Limerick and Reading, PA. Its new offices on Swedesford Road in Wayne will serve as its headquarters, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
About 160 employees will initially move to its new Wayne offices and it will continue to occupy one of its sites in the Reading area. Teleflex looked at a number of locations along the Route 422 Corridor and in the King of Prussia area before it decided to pull the trigger on CrossPoint.
“What we liked about this particular location is it will provide great visibility from major highway and signage opportunities,” says Jake Elguicze, treasurer and vice president of investor relations for Teleflex. “We are trying to showcase a new medical device company, and, from a talent standpoint, it might be easier for people to come to Wayne.”
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the landlord while CBRE Inc. represented Teleflex See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
