NEW ORLEANS-In its continued efforts to expand operations, Dunkin' Donuts has signed agreements with two franchise groups to develop 11 outlets throughout the metro area over the next several years.
The two franchise groups and their development plans are:
Alaa and Dhiya Esmail, who will develop six restaurants in New Orleans. The first will open in 2013, with the remainder built out by 2016.
BBC Foods LLC, led by Bhavin and Bharat Chauhan, which plans to develop five new restaurants. The first is scheduled for a 2014 opening, with the remainder built out by 2018.
According to a press release from Dunkin' Donuts, Louisiana franchise opportunities are available in Lake Charles, Lafayette, New Orleans, Alexandria and Monroe. To drive its expansion efforts, Dunkin' Donuts has aligned its strategy to support the growth opportunities and consumer needs of individual markets. As a result, the company continues to expand with single and multi-unit opportunities with no minimum unit requirements.
The press release goes on to say that building a solid network of stores within a market enables Dunkin' Donuts to invest in a distribution model that provides consistent, high-quality products that guests expect. In an effort to keep the brand fresh and competitive, Dunkin' Donuts offers flexible concepts for any real estate format including freestanding restaurants, end caps, in-line sites, gas and convenience, travel plazas, universities and other retail environments.
