PHILADELPHIA-The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is scheduled to hear presentations today from the six applicants vying for the Philadelphia's second casino license.

The gaming board session, which is open to the public, was expected to begin at 9 a.m. at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia at 1101 Arch St.

“The board is embarking on an in-depth process in which it will not only listen to applicants, but more importantly, listen to the public, elected officials, and organizations,” says gaming board spokesman Doug Harbach. “Tuesday's presentations are an important element in informing both the board and the public on why each believes its casino project should receive the privilege of holding a gaming license.” See story in The Inquirer.
