CHANDLER, AZ-Business Real Estate Weekly reports that Digital South Price 2 LLC, a company formed by San Francisco-based Digital Realty Trust Inc., paid $24 million to acquire 241,000 square feet of office-flex space along Chandler's Price Road corridor. Amkor Technology Inc. was the seller in the all-cash transaction.
Digital Realty now has possession of three buildings at 3200 W. Germann Rd. and 1900 S. Price Rd. The structures were built from 1996 to 1998. Mark Bauer and Carter Robinson of Jones Lang LaSalle in Phoenix represented the buyer. Pete Wentis and Kevin Cosca of CBRE in Phoenix represented the seller.
BREW notes that Amkor will continue occupying two of the three structures, while Digital Realty has plans to convert the largest building into a data center. Read more about the story here.
