SECAUCUS, NJ-Confirming statements made by Gov. Chris Christie earlier this week, an executive for the developer of the American Dream project says work will resume next month at the Meadowlands site.

Triple Five Project Director Tony Armlin, in an appearance before the Bergen County Improvement Authority on Wednesday, says work on the American Dream project would begin in early March. He adds crews would begin working before the complicated financing for the project was in place, according to the Record. Armlin expects the financing, that involves public and private sources, would be finalized by May.

Earlier this week, the East Rutherford Borough Council voted to establish a redevelopment agency in connection with bonding for the project. See story in The Record.
