POMPANO BEACH, FL-Sperry Van Ness Commercial Realty reports it has brokered the sale of a bank-owned office building here for $2.1 million.

The 33,695-square-foot Class B office building at 1280 S.W. 36th Ave. traded at $63.36 per square foot. The buyer, Doral Retail Center Holdings, LLC, plans on making significant capital improvements to the property. The building went into foreclosure in 2010 and suffered from high vacancy and deferred maintenance, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

Sperry Van Ness' Hernan Prohaszka and Joel A. Kattan represented the seller, PBE Companies, LLC, in the all cash deal. See story in the South Florida Business Journal.
