MIAMI—Real estate firms are promoting their best and brightest. In addition to the CRE musical chairs I shared with you earlier today, real estate veterans are moving up the ranks at several Southeast companies.
Chris Apone in CBRE's Miami office has been promoted to first vice president. Apone works within the Capital Markets division of CBRE and is active in the placement of debt and equity for a variety of asset types including multifamily, office, retail, and industrial. Apone began his career at CBRE in 2002 and has been involved in over $5 billion of capital market transactions during that time.
“Chris is a tremendous asset to the South Florida debt team and the multifamily sales teams he supports,” says Ken Krasnow, a managing director at CBRE. “He has an uncanny grasp of what makes a good loan, and has the respect of both his colleagues, lenders and our clients.”
Meanwhile, Engel & Völkers Miami promoted Lourdes Alatriste to partner. Alatriste, ranked in the Top 10 among Engel & Völker's highest performing real estate professionals worldwide, has been behind the sales of some of the most notable and highest priced real estate transactions in Miami.
“Lourdes is well known among Miami's elite and also has many international buyers with whom she works,” says Jose Luis Bueno, president and CEO of Engel & Völkers Miami. “Her relationships from South America up to the Hamptons and beyond are a product of her hard work and excellent reputation.”
Last but not least, Charlie Coyne, senior vice president and principal of CBRE|Raleigh has been named regional director of Retail Services for the Mid-South region. He will lead a group of over 20 brokers with a retail specialty that focus on landlord and tenant representation while also overseeing business development, client relationships, recruiting and team collaboration within the Mid-South region.
