ATLANTA-State Farm Insurance is said to be in talks to lease up to 300,000 square feet of space at The Terraces office complex here.
Commercial real estate executives tell the Atlanta Business Chronicle that the insurance company is considering leasing between 200,000 to 300,000 square feet of space at the twin, 11-story buildings owned by RBS Securities Inc.
If the deal closes, State Farm will have committed to lease approximately 900,000 square feet in office buildings in the Atlanta region over the past year. DeKalb County records indicate RBS Securities foreclosed on The Terraces' two towers for $140 million last year. See story in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
